Yes, Marks Jewelers offers watch battery replacement services. For simple watches, you can expect the battery to be changed while you wait, typically taking about 10-15 minutes. However, for more complicated watches, we may need to take them into our repair system. In such cases, you will need to leave the watch with us for a day or two to ensure we have ample time to accurately change the battery and perform any necessary checks. Our professional team is committed to providing efficient and reliable service to keep your timepieces running smoothly.

Yes, Marks Jewelers is proud to offer comprehensive repair services for both watches and clocks. We have two skilled in-house clocksmiths who specialize in a wide range of repairs. Whether you need a simple battery replacement, an intricate mechanical repair, or even restoration for antique timepieces, our experts are here to help. Additionally, we provide the unique service of making house calls to repair grandfather clocks, ensuring convenience and top-notch service for our customers. 


  • Do you offer jewelry repair?
Yes, we do offer in-house jewelry repair services at Marks Jewelers. We have multiple skilled bench jewelers on staff who handle all repairs on-site to ensure the highest quality and care for your precious items. The typical wait time for a repair to be completed is between 10 to 14 days, depending on the complexity of the repair. We take pride in offering top-notch service and timely return of your jewelry. 

  • Do you purchase jewelry or gold?

We are currently purchasing jewelry items made of karat gold or sterling silver. If you're unsure about the material or quality of your jewelry, we encourage you to bring those items in for a professional evaluation. Our experienced team will be more than happy to examine your pieces and provide you with an informed assessment. If your collection of items is more than 10 pieces you may have to leave your pieces with us to allot enough time for thorough evaluation. 

 

  • Do you offer insurance appraisals?

Yes, we offer official insurance appraisals done by our onsite gemologist. You will have to leave it with us for roughly 2 weeks in order for us to properly measure and assess the item. Feel free to bring it in whenever it is convenient for you. 

 

  • Do you offer custom jewelry services?

Yes, Marks Jewelers proudly offers in-house custom jewelry design services. We will work closely with you to create one-of-a-kind pieces crafted to your exact specifications. Whether you have a specific design in mind or need guidance in bringing your vision to life, our team will ensure a personalized and exceptional experience.   • Why do pricing for similar items vary?

You might notice that items with similar material types and quantities vary a bit in pricing. This is because the price of gold, silver, and gemstones have greatly fluctuated over the years. Therefore, pieces that we have had in stock a little longer than newer ones are going to be less expensive because we acquired them at a time when materials were at a lower cost. This can also apply to inquires of ordering or creating new pieces similar to what you see listed on the website.  However, rest assured that the quality of the items does not vary, it is just a snapshot of how the economy has shifted over the past couple of years.
